Wallet API Overview
Every currency your organization holds — fiat or crypto — lives in a wallet (internally called an "account"). The Wallet API lets you list wallets, check balances, view ledger history, look up recipients, upgrade a wallet to receive bank transfers, and fetch deposit instructions.
What's in this section
| Guide | Purpose |
|---|---|
| List Financial Accounts | See all wallets your organization holds |
| Get Account Details | Fetch one wallet by ID |
| Get Currency Balance | Quick balance check for a specific currency |
| Fetch Account Ledger | Paginated debit/credit history for a wallet |
| Lookup Account by Nadapay Code | Verify a recipient before sending internally |
| Upgrade to Virtual Account | Turn a fiat wallet into a receivable bank account |
| Get Deposit Instructions | Get the exact instructions to fund a wallet |
Wallets vs. balances
A wallet is one ledger per currency. If your organization holds USD, NGN, and USDC, that's three separate wallets, each with its own ID, balance, and ledger.
